INDUSTRIES

Where we do our best work.

Eight verticals, eight sets of rules. Higher ed needs to scale across colleges. Government has Section 508 baked in. Healthcare has PHI to protect. SaaS lives or dies by conversion. We have shipped for all of them. Pick yours below.

We have worked outside these eight too. Tell us what you are building.

Q&A

Industries — frequently asked questions

Which industries does DoodleWeb specialize in?
Eight verticals: higher education, government and public sector, aerospace and defense, healthcare, nonprofit, ecommerce, SaaS / B2B technology, and financial services. Each vertical has its own documented compliance, accessibility, procurement, and editorial playbook so engagements start with pattern recognition, not a blank page.
Why does industry specialization matter for a web build?
Because the rules are not the same. Higher ed has to scale across colleges and hit AODA / WCAG 2.2 AA. Government inherits Section 508 and long procurement cycles. Healthcare has PHI and HIPAA. SaaS lives or dies by conversion. Aerospace and defense require ITAR-aware content workflows. Financial services layer on regulatory review. A generalist agency learns those rules on your budget. We already know them.
Does DoodleWeb work outside these eight industries?
Yes. About 20% of engagements are outside the core eight — private K–12, professional services, direct-to-consumer brands, associations, cultural institutions. The industry sections are where we have deepest pattern-recognition, not a gate on who we work with.
Do you have case studies in each industry?
Yes. Every industry page links to shipped case studies with named clients — universities (George Brown College, Trinity Western, University of Toronto, Berklee), government (New York Lottery, City of Surrey), aerospace (Ursa Major), SaaS (Amplify AI, RFPManager, SiteSonar, HeroChat), and more. See /case-studies for the full library.
Can DoodleWeb sign NDAs and comply with ITAR, HIPAA, FERPA, or PCI?
Yes. We sign mutual NDAs on request and have established procedures for ITAR-controlled aerospace work, HIPAA-regulated healthcare, FERPA-regulated higher education student data, and PCI-scope commerce environments. Compliance requirements are documented in the SOW and validated at launch.
